In January 2024, Thetanuts Finance began to distribute $ARB incentives from our Arbitrum Short-term Incentive Programme (“STIP”) — where we were eligible to receive 200,000 $ARB from Arbitrum DAO. As the period to distribute Arbitrum STIP rewards is coming to an end on 29 March, this article seeks to outline how we intend to continue to reward Thetanuts Finance v3 users on Arbitrum.
Recap of Thetanuts Finance’s Arbitrum STIP Campaign
Since January 2024, Thetanuts Finance has been distributing $ARB incentives over an 8-week period — where 25,000 $ARB is distributed to Thetanuts Finance v3 users on Arbitrum each week.
Users on Arbitrum who interact with the following products are eligible for $ARB incentives:
- Users on Add Liquidity Module
- Users with Long Positions
- Users with Boosted Short Positions
Extending $ARB Incentives after the Arbitrum STIP Campaign
With Arbitrum STIP rewards coming to an end on 29 March, we want to outline ways in which we want to continue to reward our users on Arbitrum for continuing to use Thetanuts Finance v3. Arbitrum Governance Forum has recently received a proposal to “Double-Down on STIP Successes”, where Thetanuts Finance may be eligible for an additional 200,000 $ARB if the proposal is successful.
We intend to reward sticky liquidity on Thetanuts Finance v3 during the interim between 29 March and when we receive additional Arbitrum STIP incentives — whereby up to 25% of $ARB rewards will be allocated to users that keep their liquidity within Thetanuts Finance v3 during this period.
So keep your liquidity in Thetanuts Finance v3 during the interim for even more juicy $ARB rewards in the meantime!
Sweeping Unclaimed $ARB For Future Distribution
Thetanuts Finance will allow users on Arbitrum to claim their $ARB rewards from Arbitrum STIP for up to a 2-week period ending on 15 April 2024.
Thereafter, $ARB rewards will be swept back into the Thetanuts Finance Treasury — to be distributed together with the additional 200,000 $ARB if the Double-Down on STIP Successes proposal is successful.
